This project in Coimbatore is very unique . The project including civil and interior was completed in 20 months . The superstructure is precast and assembled at site in 60days time including the foundation work . All the interior detail along with the services including product procurement was done before start of work . Once the civil work was completed the assembly of interior work commenced subsequently. Exterior dry cladding in large format tiles along with the water body on the southwest side ensure lower interior temperatures throughout the year . Although the entire house has ducted air conditioning , customised detailing for lighting design ,ac ducting and ceilings ensure that none of the ac grills or the internal units are visible to a regular visitor . The whole house uses reusable ceiling systems which can be removed and reinstalled whenever any maintenance work is needed with out the need for any patchwork . The project is next to the busy Avinashi road ,but the landscaping concept ensures the site is well buffered from the street noise .
