Project details

This project in kodungaloor was built on the ancestral property of the client . The original ancestral home was demolished by the client several years back and this project was envisioned as the space for the family get-togethers . It was designed as a space which will appeal to both the older and the younger members of the family . It has three wings connected by a central courtyard . The main wing with the bedrooms , family room,dining and kitchens . An intermediate wing which has the living room and the formal dining ,and a third wing which is used when required with additional bedrooms ,pool , theatre room and a gym . The house plot is landlocked and hence the project was designed such that the landscape arround opens up gradually to the person moving inside and outside the house , thus generating sustained interest among the interior and exterior spaces throughout the project .
